Open-source relay. Managed control plane.

The byte-relay data plane is the open-source Thirp Runtime project: Broker, Agent, Caller libraries, CLI tools, and local file-backed policy. Thirp Cloud adds a managed control plane for tenant identity, customer approval, timed grants, audit, usage, and hosted Broker operation.

The long-running customer-side process is thirp-agent from a Thirp Runtime release. thirp agent enroll writes its managed agent.conf and agent.token. That is configuration for the same Agent, not a second Agent product.

The open-source data plane remains independently useful and auditable. It is what your customers use to reach your software in their environment. Thirp Cloud adds managed identity, approval, audit, policy, and operation. The hosted control plane is not open source.
